150,000 SF warehouse space leased in Allentown

Markward Group arranged the lease of 150,000 SF warehouse space at Iron Run Distribution Center II, 6736 Tilghman Street, Allentown, PA.

Del Markward, SIOR and Mike Capobianco, SIOR represented the sub-landlord, True Value, and the tenant, ShipHero, in the Prologis-owned building, in conjunction with Brian Lenahan, SIOR, of Premier Development, Ohio.

ShipHero’s new fulfillment center in the Lehigh Valley will be their ninth location across the US. They will be hiring up to 25 employees as they continue to grow in the market.

ShipHero is a US multinational e-commerce logistics company that gives e-commerce businesses and 3PLs the tools to ship e-commerce orders to their customers. With over 3,700 customers located around the globe, ShipHero offers online retailers a suite of services ranging from warehouse management software to outsourced fulfillment as a service. Some notable customers include Mars, Universal Music Group and Canadian Tire. Additionally, ShipHero is the fulfillment network partner for Shopify, and is rapidly scaling a network of warehouses throughout the US to meet the growing demands of the e-commerce customer.
